kNm Hydraulikk won the contract with Veidekke and Fred Olsen Renewables AS for the development of wind power at Lista. The delivery consists of specially designed tensioning tools, approved training for Veidekke personnel, ultrasonic measurements and documentation of the prestressing force in bolted connections, and delivery of personnel.
31 wind turbines will be built and work will start in April 2012 with completion in the first quarter of 2013. The wind turbines will annually produce enough electricity to cover approx. 12,000 households. Veidekke’s justification for awarding the contract to KNM Hydraulics was KNM’s long experience and expertise in the field.

We want to put together a good package solution, consisting of an approved course in both hydraulic bolt tensioning and the use of the Ultrasonic Stress Meter – USM-3.
In the package, we of course expect very good service from you, and good follow-up after the course. It is important that a knowledgeable person from you assists us in the start of the stretching operation, until we feel confident in carrying out the job on our own.”
