kNm Hydraulikk AS carried out a project for Aker BP at Edvard Grieg.
KNM Hydraulics AS has recently completed an extensive project under TAR for Aker BP on The Edvard Grieg Platformin the North Sea. The project lasted 20 days and included several important maintenance and support tasks to contribute to a safe and efficient start-up of the facility after the shutdown.
The work included opening and closing various tanks, as well as replacing bolts and gaskets on all flanges within the scope of the project. In addition, KNM Hydraulikk assisted with several other tasks offshore during the project period., in close collaboration with personnel from Aker BP.
During the project, we used equipment that we both rent out and sell ourselves. This contributed to the efficient execution of the work and provided good flexibility in the field.
The project required a high focus on safety, quality and efficient execution throughout the offshore period. Good planning, close collaboration and skilled employees were important factors in ensuring progress and delivery according to the customer's expectations.
To meet the needs during the project, we also brought in additional personnel through our collaboration with Thermotech AS.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Aker BP for their trust and good cooperation throughout the project, and we look forward to assisting with upcoming projects in the future.
